On the FFBT Radar: Young activists talking food justice + sustainability

Any Southwestern University students or alumni out there?!

See what amazing student activists from Southwestern are building, just below. We’re excited to be part of this event at Southwestern University tonight via Skype. E.B.O.N.Y and SEAK at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX are bringing forth a week-long food awareness event on campus. We’re inspired to see students harnessing food justice knowledge on campus. And we’re especially excited to see a group supportive of Black students AND a group focused on sustainability synergizing.

Here’s the next generation of changemakers, creating a model for community organizers everywhere: connect the dots, build relationship, make it happen.

Here’s a schedule of the on-campus events just below. A special shout out to E.B.O.N.Y president Kabi Kamau for reaching out to FFBT. Naya of FFBT looks forward to “digging deep” via Skype with students tonight, after the Soul Food Junkies screening!
